What is coaching?
Essentially, coaching is an ongoing personal, strictly confidential conversation between the coach and his or her client which is dedicated to helping the client create and live a fulfilling life. This is most often achieved by helping the client set goals that will add significantly to the client's life and supporting the client as he or she achieves the goals through massive, agreed upon action – one step at a time. When an individual works with a coach, he or she aligns with an objective, yet empathic, confidante, guide, mentor and advocate.
Coaching is proven to be successful when two factors are present:
• The client is willing to learn, grow and take action. • There is a gap between where he or she is now and where he or she wants to be in the future.
